Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed on the very first ball, marking his 17th dismissal at zero in the tournament.

 

Rajasthan's Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets for the 20th time in his IPL career. Ravichandran Ashwin played his 200th match, becoming the second bowler to reach this milestone in the IPL. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Indians became the first team to play 250 matches in the tournament.

The Mumbai Indians lost four wickets for just 20 runs against the Rajasthan Royals. This marks Mumbai's second-lowest score with four wickets down. Previously, in 2017, they lost four wickets at a score of seven runs against Bangalore.

Rajasthan Royals' fast bowler Trent Boult claimed three wickets against the Mumbai Indians in the powerplay. With this, he completed 55 wickets in IPL Powerplays. He shares this record with Sandeep Sharma. The bowler with the most wickets in Powerplays is Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Sunrisers Hyderabad, with 61 wickets. Chennai Super Kings' Deepak Chahar is second with 56 wickets.
