In the 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Rajasthan Royals secured their third consecutive victory. The team defeated the Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium. Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed on the very first ball, marking his 17th dismissal at zero in the tournament.

2. The Mumbai Indians lost four wickets for 20 runs.

The Mumbai Indians lost four wickets for just 20 runs against the Rajasthan Royals. This marks Mumbai's second-lowest score with four wickets down. Previously, in 2017, they lost four wickets at a score of seven runs against Bangalore.

 

3. Ashwin became the second bowler to play 200 IPL matches.

Ravichandran Ashwin played his 200th IPL match against the Mumbai Indians. He became only the second bowler to achieve this feat after Ravindra Jadeja, who has played 229 matches. MS Dhoni has played the most IPL matches, with 253 appearances. Rohit Sharma has also surpassed Dinesh Karthik by playing his 246th match. Karthik has played 245 matches.

6. Trent Boult completed 55 wickets in the powerplay.

Rajasthan Royals' fast bowler Trent Boult claimed three wickets against the Mumbai Indians in the powerplay. With this, he completed 55 wickets in IPL Powerplays. He shares this record with Sandeep Sharma. The bowler with the most wickets in Powerplays is Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Sunrisers Hyderabad, with 61 wickets. Chennai Super Kings' Deepak Chahar is second with 56 wickets.
