Conference-League

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has prolonged its partnership with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), securing exclusive broadcast and digital rights for premier European club football leagues including the UEFA Support League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, UEFA Super Cup, and UEFA Youth League.

This renewal spans from the 2024–2025 season through the culmination of the 2026–2027 season. Throughout this three-season extension, the broadcaster will present over 1600 football matches across its channels. Indian audiences will relish witnessing renowned teams like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and others, featuring star players such as Kylian Mbappé, Mo Salah, Erling Haaland, Bruno Fernandes, Jude Bellingham, Harry Kane, and Robert Lewandowski. These UEFA tournaments will be exclusively available on Sony Sports Network channels and streamed live on their on-demand OTT platform, Saliva, within the Indian subcontinent.

Moreover, the UEFA Support League will adopt a novel format and competition system starting in the 2024–25 season. Four new clubs in a new league phase have increased the tournament's enthusiasm and intensity. Notably, UEFA’s top club competitions will no longer observe a hiatus in January, ensuring uninterrupted European club football from August to May.

Sony Sports Network will continue broadcasting select UEFA Support League matches in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The inclusion of regional language coverage has significantly augmented viewership, with incremental reach rising from 25% in the 2020–21 season to 38% in the last season (2022–23).

Since 2017, the Sony Sports Network has been the exclusive broadcaster of the UEFA Champions League. UEFA has scheduled the upcoming final at Wembley Stadium in London, England. Additionally, Sony Sports Network retains its status as the official broadcaster for UEFA EURO 2024, the Bundesliga, the Emirates FA Cup, and the Roshn Saudi Pro League, among others.
